Hanson Zandi Supports MS Healthcare Charity

Hanson Zandi was proud sponsor of the Chilterns MS Centre 30 Year Anniversary Celebration Party, which took place on Friday 23 October at the MS Centre in Wendover. Will Elliott, Creative Director and Colette Murphy, Client Services Director, attended the event and joined in the evening’s celebrations.

Chilterns MS Centre The Perfect Match

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a debilitating condition and we wanted to do something to help. The Chilterns MS Centre caught our eye as being the perfect charity to support as part of our own corporate responsibility, giving back initiative. Both of us are celebrating our 30 Year Anniversary this year, both are associated with healthcare and both have our home in Buckinghamshire.

Hanson Zandi Walk the MS Mile

The entire Hanson Zandi team also walked the Chilterns MS Centre Marlow mile in September. Despite the torrential rain that persisted all morning we all took time out to take part and raised an additional £300 to add to the £1000 for the Anniversary Party.

Hanson Zandi 30 Year Challenge #HZ30

Our support of the Chilterns MS Centre is part of something bigger. At the beginning of this year we created the Hanson Zandi 30 Year Challenge, a combination of activities designed to raise money, support worthwhile causes and at the same time provide an incentive to push ourselves to attain new personal targets. Other activities we are currently doing include the following:

  • 30 gift boxes for orphans in Romania
  • 30 dry (no alcohol) days Sober October
  • 30 places or events to be visited by Mojo-The-Monkey, our 30 Year Mascot
  • 30 days of fitness
  • £30 per month to be donated to charity by each member of staff throughout 2015

The Hanson Zandi team have been truly incredible and have walked, run, baked, danced and lifted to raise money for a wide range of causes that are near to their hearts. One can’t help but feel proud to be associated with such an amazing and inspiring group of individuals. Mojo’s done his bit too. Follow his travels on twitter by using the hashtag #HZ30.

Chilterns MS Centre Doing An Incredible Job

Staff at the Chilterns MS Centre are amazing. They provide valuable advice and care to people with multiple sclerosis and their families. And they have now been doing it for 30 years.

The team strive daily to help people gain greater control over multiple sclerosis so that they continue to lead happier and healthier lives. They have expert friendly staff, fantastic volunteers and 440 members. The Centre provides comprehensive and holistic care such as physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, oxygen therapy, acupuncture and massage to about 300 people each week. There is also a dedicated carers support service. The support the Centre offers a positive focus for so many. Members can join the social group or simply have a chat over tea and cake in the welcoming atmosphere of the Centenary Café. In this way many enjoy and benefit from the social aspect of attending the Centre.

Chilterns MS Centre has a comprehensive website with loads of information so have a look and please support their work if you are able to do so. www.chilternsmscentre.org
